This subchapter shall not be construed to impose upon the city or any of its officers or employees any liability or responsibility for any damage to persons or property by reason of inspection, reinspection or lack of inspection authorized herein or by reason of approval or disapproval of any equipment, material or process or recommendation regarding installation of the same.
