§ 30.46 ZONING COMMISSION.
   (A)   In order to avail itself of the powers conferred by KRS 100.300 to 100.600, there is hereby created a City Zoning and Planning Commission consisting of ten members.
   (B)   Said commission shall assemble at the City Hall at a time fixed by said Commission and shall prepare recommendations as to the number of zoning districts to be established in the city and the boundary of such districts. Said Commission shall also prepare recommendations with respect to the buildings in each of the said zoning districts. Said regulations shall relate to the height, number of stories, size of buildings or other structures, the percentage of the lot that shall be occupied, the size of yards, courts or other open spaces, the density of population and the location and use of the buildings, structures and land for trade, residence or other purpose.
   (C)   All meetings of said Commission shall be public and said Commission is authorized to employ such clerical, architectural or engineering assistance that may be necessary or helpful.
   (D)   Said Commission will prepare its report and recommendations at the earliest practicable date for its submission to the Council.
