§ 92.19 DECORATIONS.
   (A)   During mowing season, no wires or artificial flower stems will be permitted on or in the ground to ensure the safety of workers and equipment.
   (B)   The following will not be permitted on any plot for the safety of our employees, equipment and visitors: wire fences, glass of any kind, hedges, trellises, gravel or metal decorations including stakes, rods (with the exception of shepherd hooks), pipes and chains.
   (C)   Decorations that violate cemetery regulations will be removed and discarded.
   (D)   Items with advertising, items that may be deemed offensive (such as excessive lighting, excessive pinwheels and the like), clothing items and similar items are not permitted on a headstone, placed in a bordered area or added to any portion of a plot.
   (E)   Items of a nature unique to a holiday will be allowed to be placed in bordered areas no more than 21 days before the holiday and shall be permitted to remain for no more than 21 days following the holiday, at which time they may be removed and discarded by cemetery personnel.
   (F)   Two shepherd hooks are permitted per cemetery plot and shall be placed in bordered areas only or against the back of a headstone.
   (G)   Articles made of concrete (urns, boxes and the like) are permitted only in bordered areas.
   (H)   The cemetery staff reserves the right to exclude or remove from any cemetery plot such stones, monuments or other things as shall be deemed by it to be improper, offensive or injurious to that or the adjacent plots or grounds.
   (I)   Unattended open fires, candles, oil lanterns or other incendiary devices are prohibited.
   (J)   Ornamental shrubbery and trees may not be planted around headstones or markers.
   (K)   When in doubt about a grave display, please contact City Hall.
   (L)   The Wilmore Cemetery does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to monuments, flowers or decorations whether from acts of God, accidents, vandals or thieves.
   (M)   The Wilmore City Council reserves the right to amend these policies, as it deems necessary, for the care of the cemetery and the protection of the plot owners.
