For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
LARGE TREE. Any tree species that normally attains a full-grown height in excess of 50 feet.
MEDIUM TREE. Any tree species that normally attains a full-grown height between 26 feet and 50 feet.
PERSON. Any person, corporation, partnership, company, contraction firm or other entity, including those employed under a contract with the city.
SMALL TREE. Any tree species that normally attains a full-grown height of under 26 feet.
STREET TREE. Any tree within the public right-of-way or designated tree planting easement.
TREE PLANTING EASEMENT. The tree planting area as shown on a recorded plat or on a recorded tree planting easement.
