The purpose of this chapter is to promote the beauty of the city, to unify neighborhoods by suggested tree selection and to establish a policy for street trees in proposed new housing developments. Furthermore, this chapter will protect and promote the health of established trees in the parks and public property. This chapter provides for the definition and work of a diverse member Tree Board that includes a Community Tree Manager.
