§ 50.03 UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS FOR WATER AND SEWER LINES.
   Any new water line or sewer line construction within the city limits shall be subject to the following requirements.
   (A)   Minimum depth of the line shall be 36 inches.
   (B)   Line shall be bedded six inches with #9 chips and the line covered with #9 chips.
   (C)   All 90-degree angles, 45-degree angles and fire hydrants will have a two-foot square concrete kicker.
   (D)   All fire hydrants shall have valve between hydrant and main.
   (E)   No large rock to be back-filled.
   (F)   A contractor shall install all laterals, line setters, boxes and lids.
   (G)   A line shall be inspected by the city before backfilled.
   (H)   Complete plans shall be presented to the city for review at least 20 days prior to beginning of construction.
   (I)   Adequate bond shall be posted to cover any construction damage to city streets and the like.
   (J)   All applications for permits required in the form and manner prescribed by the city.
   (K)   Unless waived by the city, all plans and specifications submitted for approval shall be drawn by an engineer, licensed to practice as a professional engineer.
   (L)   Upon receipt of all plans and specifications, the city shall notify the applicant in writing within 20 days either that the permit will be issued or denied, or that certain modifications in the plans or specifications must be made and a permit will be issued.
