(a) No person, firm or corporation, shall permit or allow the display or storage of propane tanks or gas cylinders when such tanks or cylinders are offered for retail sale and filled with propane gas prior to purchase or an offer to purchase.
(b) No person, firm or corporation, shall permit or allow propane tanks or gas cylinders larger than two and one-half pounds, prefilled with propane gas, to be sold or exchanged, or offered for sale or exchange, from storage or display dispensers for retail sale or exchange.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; upon each subsequent offense such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. (Ord. 1989-11. Passed 4-27-89.)
