165.04 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
   (a)   General Powers.  
      (1)   Willoughby Hills Seniors Inc. serving as an appointed facilitator shall have the power to study, investigate, plan, advise, report and recommend to Council any action, program, plan or legislative act which the Willoughby Hills Seniors Inc. shall find or determine to be advisable for the welfare of the senior citizens in home and community.
      (2)   Willoughby Hills Seniors Inc. shall act as a liaison and will cooperate with local officials and the Recreation Commission in insuring that all senior citizens will be encouraged and be eligible to join and participate in the activities designed for the betterment and enjoyment of seniors.
      (3)   Willoughby Hills Seniors Inc. shall interface and collaborate with other Community Senior Centers in areas of common interests.
      (4)   Any grant awarded for senior activities for the betterment of the Willoughby Hills Senior Center will be subject to the City’s normal procurement and accounting procedures.
   (b)   Operation. Willoughby Hills Seniors Inc. shall elect its own officers; make its own procedural rules and regulations. A majority of the members shall be a quorum for the transaction of business.
 
   (c)   Reporting. Willoughby Hills Seniors Inc. shall report no less than on a quarterly basis to the Recreation Commission and on an annual basis to City Council regarding senior activities.
 
   (d)   Compensation. The Board of Trustees Members for Willoughby Hills Seniors Inc. shall serve without compensation. (Ord. 2004-48. Passed 4-14-05.)
