The City may waive the requirements contained in Section 755.06(i) and sections of this Chapter which incorporate Section 755.06(i) if the applicant furnishes satisfactory evidence that he or she attended not less than six hundred (600) hours of instruction in a school within or outside of this State or in any foreign country that provides education substantially equal to or in excess of the educational requirements of this Chapter; in any event, the massagist, masseur or masseuse shall be certified to practice massage by the State Medical Board.
