There is hereby created a fund known as the Capital Projects Fund for Enhancement and Improvement of Recreational Lands and Facilities.
(a) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to deposit donations, revenues derived by the operation of recreation programs designated by the Recreation Commission for deposit; proceeds from grants, loans, proceeds of notes/bonds and any other funds as determined by the legislative action of Council.
(b) Expenditures shall be made from the Capital Projects Fund for the Enhancement and Improvement of Recreational Lands and Facilities for: Upgrading and improvement of City recreational facilities, lands, the enhancement of existing recreational facilities, the construction of or the acquisition of new recreational facilities with said expenditures to be recommended for Mayor’s approval by the Recreation Commission.
(c) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to make application to the Ohio Bureau of Inspection for approval of the creation of the Capital Projects Fund for the Enhancement and Improvement of Recreational Lands and Facilities. (Ord. 2005-86. Passed 6-23-05.)
