(a) There is hereby created the position of Building Inspector of the City.
(b) The Building Inspector shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. The Building Inspector shall perform those duties imposed by law unless Council shall have directed otherwise by ordinance or contract. The Building Inspector may also perform the duties of the Zoning Inspector of the City under provisions of Section 1133.01 of the Codified Ordinances.
(c) The position of Building Inspector shall be either full-time or part-time employment as determined by the Mayor.
