1349.17 UNPAID LICENSE CHARGES A LIEN.
   In case the owner, lessee or other person having control of a multiple dwelling or operating the same, fails to obtain an occupancy license pursuant to the provisions of this chapter and fails to pay the prescribed fee therefor, the unpaid license charge is made a lien upon the corresponding lot, land or premises occupied by the multiple dwelling. If the same is not paid within thirty days after it is due and payable, it shall be certified to the Auditor of Lake County, who shall place the same on the tax duplicate of Lake County with interest and penalties allowed by law and shall collect same as other taxes are collected.
