Exceptions to the provisions of § 721.01 shall include all recreational areas, which are lighted for a specific purpose (i.e., tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball or softball diamonds and swimming pools). Such areas shall be closed 15 minutes after the lights are turned out as regulated by the Department of Recreation via time clocks or mechanical switches. Specially lighted areas are not to be construed as lighting designated for security purposes.
