(a) Whoever violates any provision of this article shall be fined not less than $100, nor more than $600, or imprisoned not more than 90 days, or both.
(b) Any person violating any provision of § 701.02(a) shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to pay the cost of replacement and the cost of training of any such dog as shall be killed or disabled or to pay the costs of treatment and care of any such dog if same be injured, plus a fine as stated above.
