(a) Resident permit. Upon application to the Parking Authority on a form to be provided, the owner of each residential dwelling unit within the established permit zone, or such owner’s authorized designee, shall be issued a resident permit parking decal for each vehicle to which they own and desire to park within the permit zone, with a maximum of two permit parking decals for any authorized designee. The owner of the dwelling unit or his or her authorized designee, shall present a valid proof of registration of a motor vehicle belonging to a resident of the dwelling unit in order to be issued a residential permit parking decal. The owner or his or her authorized designee may, present up to two valid proofs of registration of motor vehicles belonging to residents of the dwelling unit.
(1) Any resident permit parking decals issued hereunder shall be used only by the residents of a dwelling unit within the permit zone who desire to park their motor vehicle(s), for which a motor vehicle belonging to a resident of the dwelling unit in order to be issued a residential permit parking decal. The owner or his or her authorized designee may present up to two valid proofs of registration of motor vehicles belonging to residents of the dwelling unit.
(2) Any resident permit parking decals issued hereunder shall be used only by the residents of a dwelling unit within the permit zone who desire to park their motor vehicle(s), for which a permit parking decal has been issued, at curbside, on the streets, alleys or public ways within the permit zone, as designated. In no event shall more than two resident permit parking decals be issued per dwelling unit in the permit zone.
(b) Guest permit. Upon application to the Parking Authority on a form to be provided therefor, the owner of each residential dwelling unit within the permit zone or his or her authorized designee, shall be issued two guest parking decals, on which shall be printed the street address of the dwelling unit for which such permit is issued and the date of issuance. No more than two guest parking decals shall be issued per dwelling unit in the permit zone.
(1) Guest parking decals are intended for the use of guests of residents of the permit zone, which guests desire to park their motor vehicles at curbside on the streets, alleys and public ways within the designated areas in the permit zone.
(2) A motor vehicle properly displaying a guest permit decal in accordance with the provisions of § 522.07 shall be permitted to be parked in the resident permit parking designated areas within the zones to the same extent as vehicles properly displaying a resident permit parking decal under this article.
(c) Fee. For each permit issued, a fee of $1 will be collected annually.
(d) Non-transferable. Permit is non-transferable from one permit parking zone to another permit parking zone.
