(a) The areas established by the city within the zones described herein shall be designated by signs erected thereon as “permit parking only”.
(b) It shall be unlawful for anyone not having a permit to park his or her motor vehicles in areas designated for resident permit parking during the period from August 15 through May 31, inclusive, during times designated and, if no time is designated, the restrictions shall be for a 24-hour period.
