The Sheriff of Lycoming County shall present for registry the deeds of all properties, within the limits of the city sold by him or her at any judicial sales whether in partition or otherwise. The Prothonotary of the county shall not admit for record any deed for any real estate within the city bearing date subsequent to 9-25-1907, unless the same has first been duly stamped, as required herein, as proof of registry.
