§ 130.03 FIREARMS; DISCHARGE.
   (A)   Prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge firearms of any kind or description within the city limits. This shall not apply to law enforcement officers in the carrying out of their duties, nor for hunting areas duly designated by the state’s Game and Fish Department during lawful hunting seasons. The term FIREARMS includes BB guns and air rifles.
   (B)   Exceptions. City Council may, at any time, upon receipt of proper application, grant permits to shooting galleries, gun clubs and others, for shooting in fixed localities and under specified rules. Such permits shall be in writing, attested to by the Clerk and conforming to such requirements as the Council shall demand, and the permit thus issued shall be subject to revocation at any time by action of the Council.
