§ 12.99 CIVIL PENALTIES.
   (A)   Any person violating any section of this code which is designated as subject to civil sanction or penalty shall be punished by imposition of a civil sanction not to exceed $500, unless another penalty is specified.
   (B)   Any person who commits a violation of any section of this code generally punishable as a civil infraction, after previously having been found responsible for committing two or more civil infractions of the same chapter within any 36-month period, whether by admission, by payment of the fine, by default, or by judgment after hearing, shall be guilty of a criminal misdemeanor punishable as set forth in § 10.99.
   (C)   Each day a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
