The City Clerk shall maintain a register containing the name of every person to whom a general business or temporary license was issued, the date the license was issued, the purpose for which it was granted and the amount paid for the license. The City Clerk shall not distribute copies of the register, but the City Clerk will make such register available for inspection if a person makes a public records request.
