§ 97.07 CONFLICT OF PROVISIONS, EFFECT ON PARTIAL INVALIDITY.
   (A)   In any case where a provision of this chapter is found to be in conflict with a provision of any building, fire, safety, health ordinance or other code, existing on effective date of this chapter, the provision which establishes the higher standard for the promotion and protection of the health and safety of the people shall prevail.
   (B)   (1)   If any section, division, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this chapter shall be declared invalid for any reason whatsoever, the invalidation shall not affect the remaining portions of this chapter which shall remain in full force and effect.
      (2)   To this end, the provisions of this chapter are hereby declared to be joint and severable.
