(A) The County Animal Protection Services with the approval of the County Board may enter into contracts with municipalities or veterinarians to effectuate this chapter. These contracts shall define the Animal Protection Services’ role within the municipality and assign a fee to the municipality for the services provided by the County Animal Protection Services.
(B) The County Animal Protection Services, with the approval of the County Board may also enter into agreements with veterinarians, animal shelters, animal welfare organizations or other partners to effectuate this chapter.
