The County Animal Protection Services, its agents, or other persons authorized to enforce the provisions of this chapter shall not be held liable for the injury, death or disease which may occur to any dog, cat or other animal as a consequence of the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter pursuant to the Local Governmental and Governmental Employees Tort Immunity Act (745 ILCS 10/1 et seq.).
