§ 90.16 IMPOUNDED DOGS, CATS AND OTHER ANIMALS REDEMPTION FEES.
   (A)   For every dog, cat or other animal taken up and impounded, as provided by this chapter, there shall be paid to the county animal control, by any owner of keeper of a dog, cat or other animal, the fees set by the County Board. In addition, the owner or keeper of a dog, cat or ferret four months of age or older, not currently inoculated against rabies and registered as provided elsewhere in this chapter, must have the dog, cat or ferret inoculated against rabies and registered at the time of release from impoundment.
   (B)   The fees in the preceding division shall be in addition to any other penalties invoked under this chapter.
