§ 150.140 AMENDMENTS TO THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE
IFC Section 101.1 Title

   These regulations shall be known as the Fire Code of Will County, Illinois, hereinafter referred to as "this code."
IFC Section 101.2.1 Appendices

   Appendix Chapter F is specifically adopted by Will County, Illinois and shall apply.
IFC Section 103.1 General
To read:
   The Department of Fire Prevention is established within Will County and is under the direction of each Will County fire protection district and the building code official. Consistent with the provisions of this ordinance, the Department of Fire Prevention shall not enforce fire suppression
   (sprinklering) in one and two family dwellings, duplex’s and townhouses or any building allowed to be built under the 2018 International Residential Code. The issuance of any county building or occupancy permit shall not be delayed or denied due to a failure to meet any fire suppression requirements enacted by another governmental body with jurisdiction in Will County.

   Shall be deleted in its entirety.
IFC Section 103.3 Deputies
   Shall be deleted in its entirety.
IFC Section 110.4 Violation Penalties
End of first sentence to read:
   Shall be guilty of a petty offense punishable by a fine of not more than $500.00 per violation. (Each day's violation shall constitute a separate offense). Maximum by Illinois law imprisonment.
IFC Section 112.4 Failure to Comply
End of sentence to read:
   Shall be guilty of a petty offense punishable by a fine of $100 and not more than $500.00 per violation. (Each day's violation shall constitute a separate offense).
IFC Section 1103.5.1
   Delete section in its entirety.
