The Sheriff’s Department and all members thereof are authorized to remove and tow away, or have removed and towed away by commercial towing service, any car or other vehicle illegally parked in any place where the parked vehicle creates or constitutes a traffic hazard, blocks the use of a fire hydrant, obstructs or may obstruct the movement of any emergency vehicle, or which has been parked in any public street or other public place for a period of more than 24 consecutive hours, or as provided under any other county resolution or ordinance including, but not limited to Resolution 88-10, State Commercial Relocation of Trespassing Vehicles Law.
