§ 166.042 NATIONAL REGISTER REVIEW PROCEDURES.
   (A)   Persons wishing to be notified of pending nominations and Commission meetings should provide their name and mailing address to the Will County Land Use Department.
   (B)   Each nomination received from the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) will be logged in, with date and materials received noted. Copies of the nomination will be distributed to: Commission members, individuals by request, and others interested in the nomination.
   (C)   The National Register mailing list will be used to inform interested parties of the proposed nomination. Copies of nominations will be available for inspection at the Will County Land Use Department.
   (D)   The Will County Land Use Department will notify the owner of record and the applicant that the proposed nomination has been received, and inform them of the date, time, and place when the nomination will be reviewed by the Will County Historic Preservation Commission.
   (E)   The Will County Land Use Department will schedule the nomination for consideration at the next regularly scheduled Historic Preservation Commission meeting. Notice of the next meeting will be forwarded to owners, applicants, and interested individuals. If conditions warrant, the nomination may be considered at a special meeting of the Will County Historic Preservation Commission, provided all parties are notified.
   (F)   At the meeting in which the Will County Historic Preservation Commission considers the nomination, interested parties will be invited to comment upon the merits of the nomination. Persons interested in commenting are encouraged to contact the Will County Land Use Department prior to the meeting.
   (G)   Following a discussion of the nomination's merits, the Will County Historic Preservation Commission will vote on whether or not to recommend the nomination to the Illinois Historic Sites Advisory Council (IHSAC).
   (H)   The written opinion of the Will County Historic Preservation Commission and that of the Will County Board will be transmitted to the SHPO by the deadline stipulated by the SHPO.
   (I)   The Will County Land Use Department will forward a copy of the opinions of the Will County Historic Preservation Commission and the Will County Board to the property owner, interested individuals upon request, and the applicant, as notification that the nomination has been forwarded to the SHPO for further consideration by IHSAC. The notification will include an explanation of National Register review and appeal procedures.
