(A) The county hereby adopts by reference the following provisions of the ILCS, 625, Act 5, § 1, as it exists on the effective date of this section and as may be amended after the effective date: Chapter 1 Title and Definitions Chapter 12 Equipment of Vehicles.
(B) No person shall violate any provision of the Illinois Vehicle Code adopted by reference. All citations issued for violations of the Illinois Vehicle Code that are to be prosecuted by the County of Will or by administrative adjudication and shall be written in the name of the County of Will, shall refer to the numbered sections of the Illinois Vehicle Code with using the prefix “76-” in front of the numbered section from the Illinois Vehicle Code, and shall designate the violation as an ordinance violation on the traffic citation, ticket, complaint, or compliance ticket.
