§ 36.024 EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT.
   (A)   General. The county represents that it and the employing agencies responsible to it conform to the following regulations.
      (1)   It will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed, color, political affiliation or beliefs, sex or national origin. It will take whatever action is necessary to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, national origin or sex, or political affiliation or belief.
         (a)   Action shall include, but not be limited to, employment, assignment, upgrading, demotion or transfer, recruitment or recruitment advertising, layoff or termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation, and selection for training, including apprenticeship.
         (b)   They agree to post in conspicuous places, available to employees and applicants for employment, notices setting forth the provisions of this section.
      (2)   It will, in all solicitations or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of the applicant or the employing agencies, state that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, creed, color, national origin or sex, or political affiliation or beliefs.
   (B)   Adoption of plan. The Equal Employment Opportunity Plan, 2008, a copy of which is on file in the office of the County Clerk, is hereby established and adopted by reference.
