§ 36.018 LONGEVITY.
   (A)   The County Board authorizes the payment of longevity to all nonelective full-time monthly salaried employees of the county, upon the same terms and conditions as from time to time may be negotiated and enforced through the collective bargaining agreement with Local 1028, Council 44 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employment, whether they are covered by the collective bargaining agreement or not. These payments shall commence December 1, 1969.
   (B)   It is the policy of the County Board to recognize long service. Recognition is given in the form of a money payment as specified below.
      (1)   Longevity payments go into effect on December 1 or June 1 following the completion of three years of full-time service.
      (2)   The longevity payment is computed on the basis of $2 per month for every year of work completed.
      (3)   The initial payment is $6 per month.
      (4)   The maximum payment is $40 per month.
