§ 162.30 DESIGN OF STREET SIGNS.
   (A)   All street signs shall be consistent with the applicable portions of the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), 2009 edition (which may be amended from time to lime), and the state supplement.
   (B)   (1)   On intersection related approaches, a supplemental street name sign may be erected separately or below an intersection warning sign.
      (2)   When combined with a yellow diamond sign, the color should be a black message on a yellow background.
   (C)   Street name signs.
      (1)   Street signs for designating street names shall be of the format shown below or as near to that format as practicable. The sign shall tell the common street name and the address boundary for that intersection.

      (2)   The above format shall be used whenever existing street signs are replaced and on all new signs erected in accordance with this chapter.
