§ 111.07 POWER TO SUSPEND.
   The City Council shall have the right at any time, by resolution, to suspend the sale, furnishing, or delivery of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, throughout the entire city, or any portion thereof particularly described in such resolution, whenever the Council considers such action necessary by reason of a serious public emergency such as riot, insurrection, pestilence, epidemic, or any catastrophe of such proportion as would effect the general welfare, public health, safety, and morals of all the citizens of the city in general. The Alcoholic Beverage Control Board of the state shall be notified of such action when taken.
