94.25 OPEN BURNING PERMIT SUSPENSION.
   Pursuant to the Kentucky Standards of Safety (KRS 227.300), the Fire Department may suspend issuance of burn permits. These suspensions may be prompted by the following:
   (A)   Whenever the Division of Forestry of the Commonwealth of Kentucky notifies the administrating department that an extraordinary fire hazard exists in Campbell County as determned by the National Fire Danger Rating System and Fire Occurrence or during seasonal peak fire periods; or
   (B)   Whenever the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet, Air Quality Division, of the Commonwealth of Kentucky or Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana (OKI) Regional Council of Government notifies the Fire Department that regional air quality and ozone pollution indices are reaching federal and/or state air quality exceedence levels; or
   (C)   Whenever the Fire Department deems that the issuance of a burn permit would adversely impact public health and safety.
