§ 91.02 PROHIBITION AGAINST LIVESTOCK RUNNING AT LARGE.
   (A) It shall be unlawful for any person, being the owner or having the custody or charge thereof, to permit any horse, mule, cow, hog, goat or other livestock to run at large in the city .
   (B) The city police department or duly appointed animal control officer may impound any livestock found running at large in the city and shall notify the owner or person having charge of the livestock, if the person or owner is known. If no owner or person having charge of the livestock can be found, the city shall advertise in accordance with KRS 424, by one insertion in a newspaper having a daily circulation in Campbell County, notice of having impounded the livestock, describing the same and stating the time and place where found, and that the livestock will be offered at public sale, giving the time and place of such sale, 3 days after the date of the advertisement, unless the livestock is claimed and redeemed by the owner or person having the same in charge. The owner of the livestock, or the person having the same in charge, shall, upon redeeming the same, pay the all customary and reasonable expenses for the care, storage and feeding of the livestock so impounded and shall pay, in addition, the cost of advertising the notice.
