(A) Services and costs. Every individual, or their parent or guardian if the individual is a minor, shall be required to reimburse the city for life squad services rendered to the individual. The city contracts with another city for life squad services to be rendered within the city and at present the charge for such services is $30 per call. Any such amount shall be paid to the city within ten days of billing for such by the city to the individual.
(B) Exceptions. The reimbursement provided for in division (A) above for life squad runs shall not be required of residents or owners or employees of businesses located within the city. The taxes or business license fees paid by individuals shall be considered adequate compensation for life squad services rendered to individuals.
