(A) Pursuant to the authority granted in KRS 97.030, there is hereby established a park, playground, and recreation board for the city to be known and designated as the Wilder Recreation Commission, which shall possess all of the powers and be subject to all of the responsibilities of KRS 97.010 through KRS 97.050.
(B) The commission shall consist of five (5) persons, residents and citizens of the city, to be appointed by the Mayor to serve for terms of four (4) years and until their successors are appointed. However, the members first appointed by the Mayor shall be one for one (1) year, one for two (2) years, one for three (3) years and two (2) for four (4) years. Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as original appointments for the unexpired term.
