§ 32.46 ORGANIZATION; MEETINGS; OFFICERS.
   (A)   (1)   The members of the city’s rescue squad shall, at the time of each annual meeting of the squad, elect a President and such other officers as are established by the bylaws of said city’s rescue squad. Said officers shall be confirmed by the City Council and shall thereafter hold their offices until successors are elected and qualified.
      (2)   Any officer shall be subject to removal by the City Council, at any time, for cause shown at an informal hearing before the City Council, after notice, allowing said officer to present evidence on his or her own behalf.
   (B)   Members of the city’s rescue squad shall establish bylaws and policies for the governance of said squad, including minimum training requirements for all members. Any and all bylaws, rules or policies of the city’s rescue squad shall be subject to review by the City Council and may be amended by the Council. The squad shall meet at least once each month for practice and drill.
