For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
MOBILE HOME. A movable or portable dwelling constructed to be towed on its own chassis, connected to utilities and designed with or without a permanent foundation for year round living. It may consist of one or more units that can be telescoped when towed and expanded later for additional capacity, or of two or more units, separately towable but designed to be joined into one integral unit.
MOBILE HOME LOT. A designated portion of a mobile home park designed for the accommodation of one mobile home and its accessory buildings or structures for the exclusive use of the occupants.
MOBILE HOME PARK. A parcel or contiguous parcels of land which have been so designated and improved that it contains two or more mobile home lots available to the general public for the placement thereon of mobile homes for occupancy. The term MOBILE HOME PARK shall not be construed to include mobile homes, buildings, tents or other structures temporarily maintained by any individual, corporation, company or other entity on its own premises and used exclusively to house its own labor force.
MOBILE HOME PARK DRIVES. Lanes and roadways within the mobile home park, privately owned.
MODULAR HOME. A dwelling made up of several pieces, consisting of standard “modules” transported to or constructed at the site and generally not distinguishable from conventional permanent housing.
PERSON. Any individual, firm, partnership, corporation, company, association, joint stock company or association, political subdivision, governmental agency or other legal entity, including any trustee, receiver, assignee or other legal representative thereof.
STREET. Any public street, avenue, road, alley or highway located in the city and established for the use of vehicles, the boundaries of which are hereby determined to be the outer boundaries of said street, avenue, road or alley, as platted and dedicated as shown by the official records of the city and the county as shown in the office of the County Clerk.
TRAVEL TRAILER, CAMPER and CONVERTED BUS. Any portable structure or vehicle supported upon its own axle or axles used or so constructed as to permit its being used as a conveyance upon the public streets or highways and duly licensable as such and constructed in such a manner as will permit occupancy thereof as a dwelling or sleeping place for one or more persons for a limited or temporary time, or basically designed for travel or camping purposes, propelled or drawn by its own or other motive power.
