§ 92.075 PROOF OF INSURANCE FOR DANGEROUS ANIMALS, POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS ANIMALS AND PIT BULLS.
   Any animal that has been determined to be a dangerous animal by a court determination, any animal administratively determined to be a potentially dangerous animal and any pit bull, as defined in § 92.079, that is required to be licensed under this chapter cannot be licensed unless the person having custody, ownership or control of such dog or other animal first presents written proof of public liability insurance of not less than $100,000 to the Animal Control Authority. Such insurance shall be maintained in effect for the period such dangerous or potentially dangerous animal is so designated; provided, that insurance for a pit bull, as defined in § 92.079, shall be maintained for the life of the pit bull.
