§ 51.20 METERS REQUIRED.
   (A)   Any water taps requested and installed after the effective date of this chapter shall have meters installed at the time of construction. For residential users, the meter shall be installed as near as practicable to the stopcock on the service pipe outside the building or improvement as located on the premises of the user. For business or industrial users, the meter shall be installed as designated by the Town Manager.
   (B)   (1)   All such meters shall be furnished by the town and paid for by the consumers and shall be under the control of and read by the town.
      (2)   Where more than one ultimate consumer is using from the same meter, as in office buildings, apartment houses, trailer courts and other additional outlets, the Board of Trustees may from time to time as it sees fit by resolution, establish additional charges covering such additional usage.
