(A) The Municipal Judge, in his or her discretion, may assess costs against any defendant who pleads guilty or nolo contendere, who enters into a plea agreement or who, after trial, is found guilty of an ordinance violation. Such costs shall not exceed $65 except that in the case of a trial by jury such costs shall not exceed $75.
(B) Upon the entry of any deferred prosecution, deferred judgment and sentence, or where the defendant is placed on probation, the Municipal Judge may assess a supervision fee in the amount of $55 in addition to court costs.
