§ 31.20 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   MUNICIPALITY. The Town of Wiggins, a Colorado municipal corporation.
   OWNER. A person or entity, including a corporation, partnership, association, governmental entity other than this municipality or a duly authorized legal representative or successor in interest of the same, which owns unclaimed property held by the municipality.
   TOWN MANAGER. The Town Manager of the Town of Wiggins, Colorado, or designee thereof.
   UNCLAIMED PROPERTY. Any tangible or intangible property, including any income or increment derived therefrom, less any lawful charge, that is held by or under the control of the municipality and which has not been claimed for its owner for a period of more than 90 days after it became returnable, payable or distributable, but does not include any abandoned motor vehicle, the disposition of which is otherwise provided for by law, nor any illegal weapon nor other property the possession of which is illegal under town, state, or federal law. The term includes, but is not limited to, property found or recovered by any person and turned in by such person to the municipality, which property is thereafter unclaimed by either the owner or the finder of the property.
