§ 36.21 MEMBERS, APPOINTMENT.
   (A)   The Riverport Authority shall be composed of eight members, three of whom shall be appointed by the Judge/Executive of Ballard County and three of whom shall be appointed by the Mayor of the city. In addition the Judge/Excutive may appoint himself or herself or a member of the Fiscal Court as one additional member of the Authority, and the Mayor may appoint himself or herself or a member of the city legislative body as one additional member of the Authority for a term of two years, provided that such persons may not serve on the Authority after the expiration of their terms as an elected official. Of the initial appointments by the County Judge and the Mayor, members shall be as follows: two members for two years, two members for three years, and two members for four years.
   (B)   Appointments made by the Mayor shall be with the approval of the City Council.
   (C)   All members appointed shall reside within Ballard County. No Riverport Authority member shall hold any official office with the city or the county with the exception of the provisions of division (A) of this section.
