§ 90.32 EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   Exceptions. ENCLOSURES shall be defined as:
      (1)   Bona fide educational or medical institutions, museums or any other place where dangerous animals are kept as live specimens for the public to view, or for the purpose of instruction or study.
      (2)   Any circus, carnival or other exhibit or show which keeps such animals for exhibition to the public.
      (3)   A bona fide licensed veterinary hospital which keeps such animals for treatment or impoundment.
   (B)   (1)   It is not the intent of this subchapter to prohibit the Police or Sheriff’s Departments or any other law enforcement agency operating within the City of Wickliffe from using any trained dog that may attack on command provided that such dog must be kept in the presence of its handler or confined in accordance with the law enforcement policy at all times.
      (2)   Additionally, it is not the intent of this subchapter to prohibit dogs which have been trained as seeing eye dogs intended to help the crippled persons or other medical assistance trained dogs.
