(A) City employment shall remain the first priority and if at any time the outside employment interferes with an employee's job requirements or performance for the city, the employee shall be required to modify the conditions of the outside employment or terminate either the off-duty employment or his or her city employment.
(B) No officer or employee shall undertake any employment or service, whether compensated or not, which might reasonably be expected to prejudice his or her independent judgment in the exercise of his or her official duties.
(C) Penalty for violation of this article will be the immediate discontinuing of the practice or within a reasonable time frame, in order to avoid further disruptions, if the Enforcement Committee finds this to be a more prudent approach to correcting the problem.
