(A) All excavation for building service shall be adequately guarded with barricades and lights as to protect the public from hazard. All guard barricades and lights shall be furnished and installed by the contractor.
(B) Streets, sidewalks, parkways, and other public property disturbed in the course of the work shall be restored as per city specifications. All excavation within the public rights-of-way, streets, or alleys shall require the contractor to obtain a digging permit prior to the excavation operations.
