(A) It is a violation of this chapter for any person to materially alter or remodel the exterior of a building or structure individually listed on the local register without following the provisions of this chapter. It is also a violation of this chapter for any person to demolish, relocate, remove, construct, or erect a building or structure on individually listed property on the local register without following the provisions of this chapter.

(B) It is a violation of this chapter for any person to materially alter or remodel the exterior of a building or structure individually within a local historic district without following the provisions of this chapter. It is also a violation of this chapter for any person to demolish, relocate, remove, construct, or erect a building or structure within a local historic district without following the provisions of this chapter.
