(A) The HPC shall notify the owners and occupants of all individual property nominated to the local register of the date on which the HPC will hear the nomination. Written notification will be at least 30 days prior to the meeting. The city shall also publish a notice of the time and place of the meeting in the official newspaper of the city at least 30 days prior to the meeting of the HPC.

(B) Nominations of individual properties, buildings, or structures shall be made to the HPC on a form approved by the HPC and may be submitted by a member of the HPC, owner of record of the nominated property or structure, the Common Council, or any other person or organization. No nomination shall be submitted without the written consent of the owner of record of the nominated property or structure.
