(A) The City Fire Chief and the City Building Official shall have concurrent jurisdiction to enforce the International Fire Code and shall serve as the authority having JURISDICTION, as defined in § 150.005, and this subchapter.
(B) The Building Official and all members of the Fire Department shall serve as the Bureau of Fire Prevention of the city under the provisions of the International Fire Code.
(C) Every person who shall be present at a fire shall be subject and obedient to the orders of the Chief or such other person who may be in command at the time. All regularly appointed members of the department, who are hereby wearing insignias provided for, are hereby given the necessary special police power to interpret and enforce the provisions of the International Fire Code.
