An applicant or license holder who has been denied a license or renewal of a license, or who has had a license suspended or revoked under this chapter may appeal to the Common Council by submitting a written appeal and request for a hearing within ten days of the postmark on the notice of denial, nonrenewal, suspension, or revocation. The written appeal must be submitted to City Hall, Whitewood, South Dakota, 57793. The appeal will be considered by the Common Council at the next regularly scheduled monthly meeting or a specially scheduled hearing. Failure to request a hearing or submit a written appeal results in a waiver of the same.
